I am satisfied from the investigations

carried out here that Mr. Ahlow Lowing is in fact a

British subject, having acquired British nationality in

the manner described in paragraph 3 of the despatch under

reference.

5. I have the honour to request that the sum

of $2.00 Hong Kong currency, being the fee payable to

the Commissioner of Oaths in respect of the two statutory

declarations, may be recovered from Mr. Ahlow Lowing for

remission to this Government.
